Mantra is defined as a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation or a statement or slogan repeated frequently. My mantra of life is ever-evolving and reflective of what I need, crave or desire in my world. My mantra offers me grounding and centering for direction of my day.
With spring on the horizon, I love the mantra: “Today is a new beginning.” New beginnings can be exciting and full of surprises. I have recently experienced a new beginning with my relocation from Ohio to South Carolina. I have said many times in the last couple of weeks, “Today is a new beginning.” My mantra has encouraged and supported me with challenges that come with change. My mantra helps me stay positive and motivated to strive for a new sense of normal. Normal in a new home, new city, new routines, and all the other new that comes with a move.
What is your mantra of life? I promise a mantra can serve you well. A mantra can also support your intention and dreams in your present moment and future. A mantra can be the beginning of envisioning what you want, need, or hope for in your space called life. How often do you stop and think about what YOU want? How would that want make YOU feel? How would it smell, feel, and taste? What would YOU hear if YOU had that want? When I make time to envision and embody my want, the universe listens.
Create YOUR mantra and send it out to the universe with each time YOU repeat it! It’s powerful, directive, and the beginning of great things to come for YOU!
