Each of us is deserving of mental health. October 10th is World Mental Health Day. What do you do to ensure your mental health is at its optimal?
The power of self-compassion can be a start. When we come to terms with our challenges in life and decide a path of gentleness, positive effects can result in our mental state in life. Self-compassion should look like how you might treat a good friend or a loved one. Why would you treat yourself less than someone you care about? How can you create a new way of approaching your life like you would suggest to a friend or family member you care about?
Asking for the help you may need is an empowering step forward in life. Do you manifest what you want in life or are you stuck with what is? Visualizing your goals is not always enough but it is a beginning. Find support in sorting out what needs to be decluttered, enhanced, organized and set your path forward with priority and purpose. Find actionable plans and make your dreams come true with focus and effort.
Mental health deserves attention especially when life seems overwhelming. When it is ignored, negativity can take over. Your mental health is a right and must be reached for if you feel it has become beyond your grasp. Is it beyond your grasp?
Fall is upon us so change is in the air. I encourage you to consider change if it is needed in your mental health. Finding self-compassion to accept your mental health is your right. Seek the help that you feel you need. If that is confusing, lean on someone who can help you sort it out. You deserve a sound state of mental health.
Seek joy, reach for joy and never give up finding joy! Let’s make mental health a global priority!
